Meet Clyde: The Communal Table Family Making Power Moves
What happens when thoughtful design meets built-in power? You get Clyde. Here’s the story behind our newest communal table family—and the details that make it ready for wherever people gather next.

Some streets become landmarks. Others just quietly do their job, connecting people to where they need to go. Clyde Park Ave is the latter. It runs near our headquarters, woven into our daily routine. It connects neighborhoods. Moves people along. Keeps things flowing. So, when we set out to design a communal table rooted in connection—human and technological—it made sense to call it Clyde. It doesn’t shout for attention. It earns it. One conversation, one laptop, one shared lunch at a time.
Power-ful
Built-in power is available as a standard option with Clyde. Not an afterthought. Not a complicated add-on. A ready-to-go solution designed right into the plan.
So whether it’s a coffee shop that turns into a workspace, a corporate commons that doubles as a touchdown zone, or a university hub that never really powers down, Clyde is ready. Cords stay tidy. Devices stay charged. Conversations keep going.

Softer Lines—Strong Presence
Designed in partnership with Jesse Hill of Hill Studio, Clyde balances simple design and practical functionality. Jesse founded his Baltimore-based studio in 2019 with a focus on connecting the dots—creating pieces that are beautiful, functional, and bring a little joy to everyday life. With nearly 15 years of experience spanning consultancies, startups, Fortune 500s, and design-driven brands, his work centers on quality, materiality, and purpose. The goal? Refine each design to its simplest, most inviting expression.
You see that in Clyde. The lines are softer. The silhouette is welcoming. Subtle details—like rounded corners with a gentle radius—add an extra layer of approachability, creating forms that naturally invite gathering and connection. The tubular steel legs are simple, modern, and fresh. And the true four-leg design means the ends can be accessed easily—no awkward base interference, no “sorry, can you scoot?” moments. Just open, usable space from end to end.
Grounded in Materiality
Clyde’s solid wood table tops celebrate natural beauty — rich with character and handcrafted in Michigan from premium American hardwood. Every plank is thoughtfully selected and precisely crafted to showcase the grain, texture, and warmth unique to real wood. The result brings depth, authenticity, and a quiet connection to nature into any space.
Available in Maple (any finish), Hickory, White Oak, Walnut, or Mixed Wood. Each species brings its own personality — subtle or striking, light or dramatic. You set the tone.

Looking for something with a bit more durability? Clyde is also available with a laminate top, featuring either an exposed plywood core for a touch of contrast or plastic edges for a clean, seamless finish. Durable. Design-forward. Ready for real life.
The steel four-leg base is available in your choice of powder coat color, because we know one size does not fit all. Go neutral. Go bold. Go brand-forward. Clyde can handle it.
Friendly Design
At its core, Clyde is approachable. It’s not trying too hard. It’s not overly complicated. It’s thoughtful, intentional, and refreshingly straightforward. The kind of table that feels just as right in a bustling café as it does in a collaborative office or campus commons.
It invites you in. It makes space. It keeps things connected—people and power alike. From a street we know well to spaces you’re designing next, Clyde is ready to take its place at the center of it all.
